{Release Day Blitz + Giveaway} Wicked Thing - By Angeline Kace

Carmyn Rafferty witnessed the aftermath of her mother's affair. She learned at a young age not to trust anyone. Especially not your spouse. So she's planned. She's planned every detail of her life: who her husband will be, what their careers will be, what their lives will be like. All to avoid the pain of infidelity.

Dallas Brown lives a life all his own. He doesn't do relationships, he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, and he doesn't live up to anyone's expectations but his own.

When Carmyn's fiancé cheats on her, it sends her into a whirlwind of one-night stands with the most infamous player on campus. She can't seem to stay away from this tough guy and his dangerous motorcycle. Everything about him is the complete opposite of who she'd planned to fall in love with: tattoos, dark stubble along his jawline, and hair that brushes his shoulders.

As Dallas and Carmyn begin to fall deeper and deeper into each other, they learn that love can truly be a wicked, wicked thing.

Author: Christine O'Neil
Website
Release Date: 8/19/2013
Purchase Info: Amazon ~ B&N
My Name is Maggie Raynard. After sixteen years being just plain me, suddenly, when I lose my temper, my fingers become weapons of mass destruction. Turns out I'm a semi-god, descended from Aphrodite. Sounds cool in theory, but when I accidentally put my ex-boyfriend in a coma, things go downhill pretty fast.

Now some new guy names Mac Finnegan has made it his mission in life to continually piss me off. I'm stuck learning how to use my new powers while also dealing with regular high school problems, and with this annoying-and super-hot- guy all up in my business, I'm about to flip out. But it gets worse. I just learned there's this watchdog council of semis who keeps an eye out for any bad apples. They think I'm the baddest of the bunch and want to take my out before I do any more damage. Mt nemesis Mac might turn out to be my salvation, only he's got secrets of his own...and they may just kill us both.

Yes, Yes, Yes!

CHAOS was the perfect marriage of hot, adventure, and smart ass remarks to make me devour it in 24 hours.

Where to start....I would say Mac, but trust me that little complicated morsel will have his time.....so how about Maggie.

Here you GO:

Synopsis:

Owning a strip club isn’t the fantasy most guys expect it to be. With long hours, a staff with enough issues to keep a psych ward in business, and the police regularly on his case, twenty-nine year old Cain is starting to second guess his unspoken mission to save the women he employs. And then blond, brown-eyed Charlie Rourke walks through his door, and things get really complicated. Cain abides by a strict “no sleeping with the staff” rule. But being around Charlie challenges Cain’s self-control…and it’s been a long time since any woman has done that.

Twenty-two-year old Charlie Rourke needs a lot of money, really fast, in order to vanish before it’s too late. Taking her clothes off for men makes her stomach curl but Charlie tells herself that at least she’s putting her acting and dancing skills to good use. And though her fellow dancers seem eager to nab their sexy, sophisticated, and genuinely caring boss, she’s not interested. After all, Charlie Rourke doesn’t really exist—and the girl pretending to be her doesn’t need to complicate her life with romance.
Unfortunately, Charlie soon discovers that developing feelings for Cain is inevitable, that those feelings may not be unrequited—but losing him when he finds out what she’s involved with will be more painful than any other sentence awaiting her.

{Excerpt} Wavecrossed - By Andrea Colt

Today I have the great pleasure of teasing you all with a taste of Andrea Colt's fabulous novel, Wavecrossed!

If you haven't heard of it, here's a little bit more about the book:

To Cassandra Kelleher, trust is a dirty word.

A teenage selkie who grew up on land, all she wants is to free her family from the man who stole their sealskins long ago. With her twin brother Brennan losing hope and her window of opportunity disappearing like the beach at high tide, she’ll try anything.

Before long, however, Cassandra can’t tell whether her biggest threat is the man holding her family captive, a classmate who’s discovered her secret, or her own paranoia. Battling broken friendships and alarming romantic entanglements, Cassandra finds that trust could be the key to winning her family’s freedom … or losing her own.

 ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

From Chapter 11, in which Cassandra is on a mission:

He brushed a lock of hair from my face. “You know, you never told me your name.”

I hesitated. “Anna.”

Paul cocked his head. “Is that really your name?”

“Um.” Caught off guard, I knew by Paul’s frown that my expression had given me away. I needed to get my head back to my real mission; Paul was way too sharp. “No,” I admitted.

On my back, his hands tensed.

“Tell me your real name.”

Thinking fast, I tossed my hair flirtatiously.

“I’ll tell you later. If you impress me.”

“I have to earn your name?” Paul raised a brow, but thankfully seemed to relax. “What do I have to do?”

“You’ll think of something.” I was about to suggest finding a room to ourselves when Paul tilted his head down with a sudden quick grin.

“What about this?” He pressed his mouth to mine.

Want to know what Cassandra’s mission was, and if it worked? Read Wavecrossed, out now.

A MATTER OF FATE  (#1 The Book of Fates)

Blurb:
Chloe Lilywhite struggles with all the normal problems of a typical seventeen-year-old high school student. Only, Chloe isn't a normal teenage girl. She's a Magical, part of a secret race of beings who influence the universe. More importantly, she's a Creator, which means Fate mapped out her destiny long ago, from her college choice, to where she will live, to even her job. While her friends and relatives relish their future roles, Chloe resents the lack of say in her life, especially when she learns she's to be guarded against a vengeful group of beings bent on wiping out her kind. Their number one target? Chloe, of course. That's nothing compared to the boy trouble she's gotten herself into. Because a guy she's literally dreamed of and loved her entire life, one she never knew truly existed, shows up in her math class, and with him comes a twin brother she finds herself inexplicably drawn to. Chloe's once unyielding path now has a lot more choices than she ever thought possible.
